We do not condone, nor do we suggest anyone make fake Facebook profiles. You should always refer to Facebook’s Terms and Principles. The following information is for educational purposes only.

It’s no secret that Facebook has been cracking down hard on fake profiles. Any number of actions can set off the dreaded checkpoint verification system. If you want  to create a number of fake Facebook profiles, you will need a number of tools and remember some basic rules.

1) Use a credible seeder account you’ve worked on for several years. The seeder account is crucial as it will be the first friend of your new FaKebook. Seeder accounts are necessary to identify the FaKebook’s friends, a classic checkpoint requirement. Be cautious with your choice of seeder account as the algorithm will suggest first and foremost your seeder account’s friends to the FaKebook account. Got that?

2) Get yourself a VPN that gives you the ability to choose your city, country or region. We have found that Private Internet Access has the best set of tools.

3) Use multiple browsers: one browser for the seeder account, a second browser for account creations and a third browser for other activity. We suggest using Safari / Firefox & Chrome. Chrome is best suited for creating accounts because of step #10.

4) Use Evernote to keep your accounts straight. Sounds silly, but one of the classic checkpoint questions is the date of birth. If you’ve created 10 or 20 fake accounts, you need to remember the right DOB!

5) Names and places. We have a collection of 300 abandoned casino cards we picked up from various gambling establishments in Vegas. Take one card from your stack for the first name, take out a second card for the last name.  You can make up your own name generator with some imagination. Pick a city and do your homework: lookup High Schools, Colleges. Make your choices credible. Use Google Maps, Google and Google Images.

6) Accumulate profile pics from ‘victim profiles‘ with plenty of photos with your data-mining account. Get as many as you can. Organize the photos by folder with the name of the new identity. Make sure there is no linkage between your seeder account and the data-mining account. Add pics to your profile over time, it’s more credible. This step is the most questionable and raises serious ethical issues.

7) Start creating your accounts, one at the time. Don’t be greedy, don’t add friends too quickly as your account will be quickly reprimanded. Instead, use passive techniques: join interest groups, sport franchise pages, dating groups and post agreeable messages. This will garner interest and friend requests. You’re better off receiving than begging and you will be flagged. You can also add what we classify as ‘easy friends’: local politicians, local celebrities, local musicians, TV anchors.

8) Clear your browser history, cookies and all between sessions. Change your VPN settings, rinse and repeat …

9) You will need a phone number for verification. Get yourself a virtual voicemail account. We have tested dozens of systems; most are banned or blacklisted by Facebook. Don’t even bother with online texting systems and for goodness sake, do not rush out and buy a bucket of SIM cards: that’s an expensive proposition and most pay as you go carriers are black listed by Facebook.

10) When Facebook checkpoints you and requires you check your identity with a text message, this is when things get tricky. You will need to edit the live HTML and submit alternate code to toggle Facebook into calling your virtual voicemail account with  security codes. This is the key to the whole process and maintaining FaKebook credibility.
